Our mission
Banking belongs in business software
Many software companies already serve small businesses incredibly well: helping them send invoices, run payroll, manage inventory, and more. They’re on a mission to become the central hub for managing every aspect of business life.
But when it comes to financial workflows, there’s still a gap. Too many critical tasks like managing cash flow, tracking payments, or reconciling accounts happen outside the software, across spreadsheets, email threads, banking portals.
It’s a missed opportunity. Business software shouldn’t just record financial activity — it should run it.

Job description
As an Electronic Money Institution operating across multiple EU jurisdictions, Swan is subject to a large set of regulatory reporting obligations (FICOBA, COREP, FINREP, CESOP, SIF, DTE, RUBA, payment statistics, national observatories, DORA registers, AML/CTF, etc.).
Today, regulatory reporting is managed through multiple processes and specifications that have grown organically over time. To support Swan’s growth and regulatory expectations, the challenge is now to strengthen consistency, data quality and reliability, while maintaining the agility of a fintech environment.
This role will act as a functional bridge (MOA like) between Risk/Compliance, Finance, Data, Product and Payments teams to secure timely and accurate regulatory reporting.
In this position, you will join the Risk PMO department, a dynamic team that combines regulatory expertise with project management, data-driven process optimisation and innovative approaches to strengthen Swan’s regulatory framework.
✨ Your mission
Your mission is to take ownership of Swan’s regulatory reporting portfolio across multiple jurisdictions, acting as the functional lead to:
- Ensure timely, high-quality, and auditable reporting, maintaining strong data governance and reliability
- Standardize and improve reporting processes by defining clear data contracts, specifications, and automated quality controls
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to align regulatory, business, and technical requirements while driving continuous improvement and efficiency
✨ Main Tasks
- Manage the full reporting portfolio: consolidated calendar, owners, SLA tracking, dependencies
- Translate regulatory requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Collaborate with Compliance/Data/Tech/Product/Finance to implement orchestrated and automated reporting pipelines
- Define and monitor data quality rules (completeness, accuracy, timeliness, consistency) and set up dashboards for validation
- Maintain runbooks, escalation procedures and fallback options
- Continuously improve processes to reduce manual effort, error rates and defects
- Document and update reporting specifications as living data contracts
✨ Your team
Our Risk PMO team is composed of compliance and project management specialists, working at the crossroads of governance, regulatory projects, training and automation.
We collaborate closely with Swan’s first and second lines of defense and interact with Data, Product, Payments and Tech teams.
Our mission: to make Swan’s risk and compliance framework not only regulatory-compliant, but also efficient, data-driven and innovative.
Preferred experience
✨ You’re a great match if:
- You have significant experience in regulatory reporting, risk, finance or data within a regulated financial institution (bank, EMI, PSP, fintech).
- You understand data modeling, lineage, mapping and transformations.
- You know how to work with structured/unstructured data (YAML/JSON, APIs, CSV/Parquet, regex.).
- You are structured, detail oriented, organized and love to bring clarity and reliability in complex environments.
- You are a strong communicator and can act as a bridge between risk, finance, product and data teams.
- You are proactive, result-oriented, pragmatic, and thrive in a fast-growing fintech.
- Our ideal teammate: Empathetic. Skilled. Frank. We love to challenge each other, and we leave our egos at the door.
It’s okay if you don’t tick all the boxes — don’t let imposter syndrome prevent you from applying! 🙌
