Job description
Swan is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join its team. You’ll play a key role in optimizing how we manage purchasing, vendor relationships, and pricing strategy. In this role you will act as a counsellor for Finance and Sales - you are the expert on pricing strategy and negotiation. You ensure that the pricing framework of the company makes sense from a finance standpoint.
As a Procurement Specialist, your goal is to ensure we make smart, cost-effective purchasing decisions, build solid supplier partnerships, and support Swan’s teams in maintaining strong, strategic commercial terms. You will raise awareness, efficiency for internal team to make the best use out of our procurement process by exploiting new tools such as Pivot that we just rolled out.
✨ Your mission
Your mission is to bring structure, strategy, and impact to Swan’s procurement function. You’ll manage key vendor (re)negotiations, support internal pricing discussions, and work closely with Finance and Sales to align purchasing decisions with business objectives.
✨ Main tasks
- Own end-to-end procurement processes from sourcing and evaluation to negotiation and contract management.
- Establish and implement best practices for vendor selection, cost optimization, and supplier performance evaluation.
- Support internal teams (particularly Sales, Go-to-Market and FP&A) by reviewing pricing sheets and guiding offer negotiations.
- Partner with the Finance team to track, forecast, and optimize budgets by using tools like Excel for analysis and reporting.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring terms align with Swan’s operational and financial goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand needs and priorities, and translate them into procurement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and continuously improve procurement workflows.
✨ Your team
Reporting directly to our CFO, you’ll be working closely with our Finance and Sales teams, especially with the FP&A function, to help Swan make smart buying and selling decisions and improve profitability.
You’ll also act as a trusted advisor to operational and commercial teams, helping them challenge pricing, evaluate offers, and negotiate more effectively.

Preferred experience
✨ You’re a great match if:
- You have 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or strategic sourcing, ideally in a fast-moving or tech-driven environment.
- You’re highly analytical, comfortable working with Excel and supporting finance teams with cost analysis and reporting.
- You’re fluent in both French and English and comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders across Europe.
- You have strong negotiation skills and know how to challenge offers constructively while maintaining productive relationships.
- You’ve worked closely with Sales or Commercial teams, and you’re confident reviewing pricing models and supporting offer preparation.
- You’re autonomous, bring a strong presence, and know how to assert yourself professionally — while staying collaborative and solutions-oriented.
- Experience in fintech, banking, or B2B SaaS environments is a strong plus.
