Our mission
Banking belongs in business software
Many software companies already serve small businesses incredibly well: helping them send invoices, run payroll, manage inventory, and more. They’re on a mission to become the central hub for managing every aspect of business life.
But when it comes to financial workflows, there’s still a gap. Too many critical tasks like managing cash flow, tracking payments, or reconciling accounts happen outside the software, across spreadsheets, email threads, banking portals.
It’s a missed opportunity. Business software shouldn’t just record financial activity — it should run it.

Job description
In this role, you will provide first-level IT support across a modern, fully Mac-based environment. You will join a team focused on delivering seamless tech experiences for employees and scaling infrastructure with automation and precision. The IT team is composed of collaborative, detail-oriented individuals who thrive on problem-solving and user enablement.
✨ Your mission
Our IT team operates as a lean, agile unit embedded within the People and office ecosystem. We follow a “zero-ticket” mindset, aiming to automate and preempt common issues through smart tooling and documentation.
Your primary mission is to support our employees by ensuring they have secure, reliable, and easy-to-use tools from day one, while learning and growing into core IT operations and automation initiatives.
✨ Main tasks
- Assist and troubleshoot day-to-day technical issues, particularly on macOS and SaaS platforms.
- Prepare and manage new hire onboarding: devices, accounts, software provisioning.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and help track equipment returns and assignments.
- Document IT procedures, common fixes, and setup processes in an internal knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the IT team on ongoing improvements and automation (scripts, workflows).
- Ensure basic security hygiene is followed on devices (e.g., patches, encryption, updates).
✨ Your team
By joining Swan as an IT Technician apprentice, you will become part of our IT team led by Gabriel (IT Manager), working alongside Gérald (IT Specialist) and Rubens (IT System Administrator). You'll collaborate closely with the Security team on automation and access management projects, while also working with HR for onboarding, Finance for asset tracking, and employees across all departments. Expect a fast-paced but supportive environment where learning is encouraged and autonomy is valued.
Preferred experience
✨ You’re a great match if:
- You are looking for a 1 or 2 years apprenticeship.
- You have a strong curiosity for how IT systems work and a genuine desire to help people solve tech problems.
- You feel comfortable in a macOS environment and have a basic understanding of IT concepts like networks, device management, or account provisioning.
- You are methodical, organised, and not afraid to dig into technical documentation or try things out.
- You communicate clearly (English is a must, oral & written, French is a strong plus), are dependable, and thrive in fast-paced environments where learning never stops.
- Our ideal teammate: Empathetic. Skilled. Frank. We love to challenge each other, and we leave our egos at the door.
It’s okay if you don’t tick all the boxes — don’t let imposter syndrome prevent you from applying! 🙌
Swan is committed to providing a caring work environment for all employees, regardless of age, sex, disability, sexual orientation, race, religion, or belief.
When it comes to recruitment, we’re interested in your work experience, skills, and overall personality. Because diversity makes the workplace stronger and is necessary for Swan’s success, we are intensifying efforts to incorporate concrete actions to help us improve in this area.
